Accessing Your Settings
Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard and select Account Settings.Profile
Update the details your teammates see in activity feeds, comments, and team lists.Edit Your Details
Update any of the following fields:
- Full Name — your display name visible to your team
- Avatar — upload a JPG, PNG, or GIF (max 2 MB, recommended 200x200 px)
Theme Preference
Choose between Light and Dark mode for the dashboard.Light Mode
Clean, bright interface suited for well-lit environments.
Dark Mode
Reduced eye strain with a modern dark aesthetic — ideal for late-night product sessions.
- Go to Account Settings → Preferences
- Select Light or Dark
- Click Save
Your theme preference applies to the dashboard only. The public portal theme is configured separately under Portal Customization.
Password Management
Changing Your Password
Set a New Password
Create a password that meets these requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
Forgot Your Password?
- Go to the sign-in page
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a reset link (expires in 1 hour)
- Set a new password
Google OAuth Connection
If you signed up with Google, your Google account is linked for one-click login.Viewing Connection Status
Go to Account Settings → Connected Accounts. Your linked Google email is displayed.Disconnecting Google
- Ensure you have a working password set
- Go to Account Settings → Connected Accounts
- Click Disconnect next to Google
- Confirm the action
Account Deletion
Before you delete, Feedovate shows an impact summary so you know exactly what will happen — including owned workspaces, memberships, active subscriptions, and data cleanup counts.How to Delete Your Account
Review Impact Summary
A modal shows you a full breakdown of what will be affected:
- Workspaces you own (will be permanently deleted)
- Workspaces you belong to (you will be removed)
- Active subscriptions (will be canceled)
- Data cleanup (feedback, comments, votes, and assignments)
Confirm Your Identity
Complete all required confirmation fields:
- Email — type your account email exactly
- Confirmation text — type
DELETEto confirm - Password — enter your password (if you signed up with email/password)
What Happens When You Delete
| Data | Action |
|---|---|
| Owned workspaces | Permanently deleted along with all their data |
| Other workspace memberships | You are removed as a member |
| Your feedback | Anonymized — author becomes “Deleted User” |
| Your comments | Anonymized — author becomes “Deleted User” |
| Your votes | Removed and vote counts updated |
| Assignments to you | Cleared |
| Active subscriptions | Canceled automatically |
| Profile and credentials | Permanently deleted |
